Location.
Beaulieu sur Dordogne is located within the historic Corrèze Department of SW France. Approximately a 525 km journey south of Paris on the L'Occitane Autoroute or a 4.5 hour TGV rapide train direct to Brive (a 35 minute commute from Beaulieu sur Dordogne.
Have you ever dreamt what it would be like to wander around the sets of “Game of Thrones”. Well, the medieval center of Beaulieu sur Dordogne, dating back to the 11th Century, will present you with that experience. Walk just a few steps from your accommodation and you can purchase a croissant or sample a fresh baked baguette still warm from their oven at 7am. Discover the magnificent Dordogne river, or if you are feeling more ambitious, hike, or jump on one of the two bikes provided for guests and explore many of the wonderful trails in the area.
The small town center, filled with a variety of stores and restaurants is “around the corner”.
La Corrèze and La Dordogne
Located within my building are two, fully-furnished flats that are available for rent, year round, for three days, a week, or longer.
Each apartment occupies a full floor, comprising a bedroom, full bathroom, modern appliance kitchen, and living room with a small dining area. Every ammenity has been thoughtfully selected to make your stay feel like you are occupying a friend’s home. Each flat is equipped with cable TV and excellent WiFi service.
A Beneficial Opportunity
I occupy the top floor apartment, would be available for any questions, yet providing you with total privacy within your own accommodation and the ability to plan your own agenda. However, you can benefit from my knowledge of spending the last five years exploring the World Class Corrèze and Dordogne Departments. You can ask me which are top of my list, where the photo opportunities lie, and where to experience the most within the area.
LONGER -TERM RENTAL OPPORTUNITY
The Owner, who is English, would like to identify Long Term, rather than Seasonal short-term tenancies for the two remaining units.
One is located on the second level “Dordogne” and the other on the third floor “Corréze”. Preferably for a minimum of 90 days, 6 months or even a one year term.
Actual monthly rent would be negotiated with the Owner but is all inclusive of a fully furnished and equipped apartment suitable for one or two occupants. All utilities (electric and water); fibre-optic wi-fi; cable with both French and English channels. Monthly housekeeping.
This offers you a convenient move-in with just a need for your personal possessions. There is no elevator, just easy stairs, and the entire building was completly refurbished on the interior, preserving and enhancing historical elements of the exterior to a very high standard of finish. Three of my Facebook friends have stayed at or visited the property and can attest to its quality.
